Danielle Oleda Duggins, daughter of Melanie and Stephen Duggins, formerly of Garden Grove, Calif., and recently of Newark, Ohio, was married to Christopher James Kucharczyk, son of Ilona and Jim Kucharczyk of New Canaan, on Sunday, May 15, at The Waterview in Monroe. The Hon. Chase T. Rogers, Chief Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court, presided.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Pacific Coast High School in Tustin, Cal., and received her Bachelor of Science degree in physics summa cum laude and with honors from Gordon College in 2012. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science at Northwestern University.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of New Canaan High School, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics, with distinction and honors, from Stanford University in 2011. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Materials Science at the California Institute of Technology, and is currently continuing his research as a pre-doctoral fellow at Northwestern University.
The newlyweds honeymooned in June in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris. They reside in Evanston, Ill.
