Elizabeth Brooke Cavanaugh and New Canaan’s Roslyn Thomas Reed were married Oct. 8 at St. Paul’s Church on Nantucket. The reception was held at the Nantucket Yacht Club.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy and John Cavanaugh of Hobe Sound, FL, New Canaan and Nantucket, MA. She is a graduate of Millbrook School and Elon University. She was formerly employed by Praesidian Capital in New York City before relocating to Boston.
The bride’s father is with Nutmeg Partners in Darien.
The groom is the son of Gwen and Thomas Reed of New Canaan. He is a graduate of New Canaan High School, St. Lawrence University and has a masters from Columbia University. He is currently working at AIR Worldwide in Boston, MA.
The groom’s father is with RR Donnelley and his mother is an English teacher at Stamford High School.
The bride’s sisters, Jen Moroney of Wilton, and Allie Cavanaugh of New York City were the matron and maid of honor. The best man was David Mandler of New York City.
The couple honeymooned in Portugal and are living in Boston.
