New Guinea’s role in World War II is often underplayed, yet it had a far reaching and important impact on the war’s outcome. New Canaan Library welcomes the return of historian Mark Albertson, who will speak about New Guinea’s varied and vital role in the allied forces’ campaigns. The event will take place tonight, March 16 at 6 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. Register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.
