New Canaan’s Robert J. Anderson and Fiona A. McCarthy were married Sept. 24 in the chapel of St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara and Patrick McCarthy of Montclair, N.J. Anderson, 31, graduated from Montclair Kimberly Academy, Georgetown University and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a manager in the transaction advisory practice of KPMG in Manhattan. Her father is a partner in the law firm of Day, Pitney in Manhattan. Her mother is a soprano cabaret singer, performing in New York City.
The groom is the son of Robert and Lucy Anderson of New Canaan. Anderson, 39, is a graduate of New Canaan Country School, the Groton School and Wesleyan University. He is CFA and director of investor relations at Raging Capital Management in Princeton, N.J. His father is managing partner of Penbrook Management in New York City. His mother was formerly personnel manager of Kenyon & Eckhardt Advertising in New York City.
The couple live in New York City.
