Allison S. March and Ryan M. Tillar married at St. Mark’s

Allison Sweeney March and Ryan Michael Tillar were married Saturday, Sept. 17 in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in New Canaan. Reverend Dr. Martha Klein Larsen performed the service.

The bride is the daughter of Mary-Holly and Stan March of New Canaan. She graduated from New Canaan High School in 2002 and also is a graduate of Lynchburg College. While studying for her 2014 Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky, she met Ryan. Allison is employed by NorthKey Community Care in Northern Kentucky as a crisis counselor.

The groom is the son of Debra and the late Jack Tillar of Jackson, Michigan. He is a graduate of Jackson High School and served 5 years in the US Navy as a P-3 and F/A 18 aviation machinist, serving one tour in the Middle East. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Ryan works as a customer service representative for Aviall, a Boeing subsidiary.

The candlelight reception was held at the Roger Sherman Inn in New Canaan.

The maid of honor was Austin Vallely of Darien, Connecticut and the best man was Stan March Jr., brother of the bride. Allison and Ryan reside in Cincinnati, Ohio and will honeymoon in Hawaii.
