Maria Elaina D’Angelo and Keith James Morley were united in marriage on Sept. 12, 2015. The ceremony was officiated by Monsignor Jim Lisante and a reception followed at The Carltun in East Meadow, NY.
The bride is the daughter of Elaine and Anthony D’Angelo of Bay Shore, NY. The groom is the son of Jo-Anne and Kevin Morley, formerly of New Canaan and now residing in Norwalk.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by college friend Megan Eckler as maid of honor and by childhood friend Melissa Owens as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included sister-in-law Marisol Morley and several of the bride’s cousins and friends. The bride’s 5-year old cousin, Rose D’Angelo, served as flower girl.
The groom’s brothers, Andrew Morley and Dylan Morley, served as his best men. Groomsmen included the bride’s brother, J.J. D’Angelo of Bay Shore, NY, and several of the groom’s high school and college friends.
In a nod to Syracuse University, where the newlyweds met, the bride surprised the groom with a Syracuse-themed cake. Both the bride and groom graduated from Syracuse University in 2008, she with a B.S. degree in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education and a B.A. in Sociology and he with B.S. degrees in Finance and Marketing. The bride has also earned a Master’s degree from NYU in Literacy.
The couple enjoyed a mini-honeymoon in Miami and traveled later to New Zealand and Bora Bora for their full honeymoon.
The couple resides in Manhattan, where Mrs. Morley is a learning specialist at York Preparatory School. The groom, a 2004 graduate of St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, is an Account Executive with CBS Sports Network.
