New Canaan Library is hosting a book signing event, accompanied by an informal talk, by businesswoman and entrepreneur Kathy McShane. A long-term New Canaan resident, McShane will present her debut book, The Survivor’s Guide for Female Entrepreneurs, in the Curtis Gallery tonight, Jan. 21 from 6 – 8 p.m. All are welcome but space is limited; please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.
McShane’s exceptional credentials from the corporate world, along with her entrepreneurial experience and spirit, make her the ideal source of solid advice for a woman seeking to launch a successful business. She is the founder and CEO of Ladies Launch Club, which provides strategic avenues and proven methodologies for women striving to launch, establish or expand their business. The Survivor’s Guide for Female Entrepreneurs is a natural extension of Ladies Launch Club, allowing a wider audience of women, as well as men, to benefit from the practical and motivational topics covered by the online and in-person organization.
McShane’s previous career involved holding top positions for corporate giants American Express, Citibank and MasterCard. Upon leaving the corporate world she established her own business, Kendrew Group, Ltd., a multi-million-dollar marketing services organization.
