Zane, 10, Leyton, 8, and Skyla Warren, 5, of New Canaan are organizing a toy drive to benefit the Domus kids in Stamford. The drive begins Sunday, Dec. 1, and continues until Saturday, Dec. 14.
The toys need to be new, unwrapped presents for boys and girls from newborn to 13 years old.

Some of the gift ideas the Warren kids have come up with include board books, light-up music toys and Sesame Street toys for children ages newborn-3; puzzles, Legos and action figures for ages 4-6; CD’s, Nerf toys and art supplies for those 7-9; and DVD’s, movie tickets, Rainbow Loom kits, winter gear, and school supplies for kids ages 10-13.
The drop-off locations in town are New Canaan Library, Walter Stewart’s Market, World Champion Taekwondo at 22 Vitti St., and Swirl, 111 Cherry St.
Domus has helped thousands of our region’s most vulnerable, high-risk youth experience success. Last year, the organization was able to give more than 600 meals for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and gifts for more than 800 kids.
