New Canaan Library is pleased to host top caterer Mary Giuliani as she illuminates the way to flawless entertaining with a discussion of her debut book, The Cocktail Party: Eat Drink Play Recover. Giuliani will present her talk in the Curtis Gallery on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. The event includes a book signing by Elm Street Books and a talk by Giuliani. Giuliani launched Mary Giuliani Catering & Events in 2005, based on a love of entertaining, food and hospitality. Her clients look to her to break traditional entertaining norms and instead offer ideas for parties that are one of kind, out of the box, playful experiences. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English/Theater and spent a year in Florence, Italy studying Italian food, wine and culture. She has been featured in Hamptons Magazine, Real Simple, Elegant Bride, Glamour, InStyle, and many other high profile media outlets. Biz Bash named her Caterer of the Year in both 2011 and 2012.
