Diane Jenkins has been hired as New Canaan brokerage manager for Houlihan Lawrence.
Formerly a top-producing agent with the New Canaan office of William Pitt Sotheby’s, Jenkins brings more than a decade of real estate experience to the role and a background in business and finance. Prior to entering the real estate profession, she had a 12-year career in healthcare marketing/sales and corporate business/accounting office management in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business finance from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
Jenkins replaces Amanda Bryan Briggs, who will now manage Houlihan Lawrence’s Darien brokerage.
Originally from the Baltimore/Washington area, Jenkins and her family have lived in both Darien and New Canaan for the past 23 years. She has volunteered in both the Darien and New Canaan public schools’ after-school programs. She has also served for many years as club officer and board member of the Noroton Yacht Club in Darien. Jenkins is also involved with the New Canaan Historical Society, the New Canaan Land Trust, the New Canaan Community Foundation and the Fresh Air Fund.
“The market leadership of Houlihan Lawrence in our area is well-established,” Jenkins said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to join this incredible company and look forward to leading this talented team of agents.”
Jenkins is licensed in both Connecticut and New York. Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Connecticut Association of Realtors (CAR), New Canaan Board of Realtors and New Canaan Multiple Listing Service (NCMLS), Smart Multiple Listing Service (SMLS), and Hudson Valley Gateway (GMLS). She has served on the Membership Committee for New Canaan Board of Realtors.
Houlihan Lawrence has 30 offices and more than 1,300 agents serving Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Columbia, Ulster and Orange counties in New York and Fairfield County. More information can be found at houlihanlawrence.com.
