Christine and Gary Stluka of Sag Harbor, N.Y., and St. John, U.S.V.I., formerly of New Canaan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline Christine Stluka, to Thomas Ashley Ballhatchet, son of Marian and Ralph Ballhatchet of Farnham Common, England.
Miss Stluka has been working in London since receiving her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cornell University. She is a licensed architect and associate principal at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates.
Mr. Ballhatchet received his master’s degree at Central Saint Martins, specializing in industrial design and engineering. He is co-founder and director of research and development at Bouncepad.
The couple have recently bought a Victorian terrace house in Walthamstow Village, London.
The wedding will take place in London at the Stoke Newington Town Hall in August 2014.
