Emily Kelting of New Canaan and Howard Kelting of Westport announce the engagement of their daughter, Lily Elizabeth Kelting, to Kedar Arun Kulkarni, son of Jyoti and Arun Kulkarni of Atlanta, Ga.
The future bride is a graduate of New Canaan Country School, Phillips Andover Academy and Barnard College. She will be receiving her doctorate degree in performance studies on June 14 from the University of California, San Diego.
Mr. Kulkarni received his doctorate in English from UCSD last year, and is teaching at Yale.
Kedar Kulkarni and Lily Kelting, who grew up in New Canaan, are engaged to marry.
