Meredith and Robert Oram

Meredith Anne Landry and Robert Norman Oram Jr. were married on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Stanwich Congregational Church in Greenwich. The ceremony was officiated by pastor Matthew Evans. A seaside reception followed at The Tokeneke Club in Darien.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis S. Landry of Glenville, N.Y. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert N. Oram Sr. of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of New Canaan.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a Pronovias gown of ivory silk with a strapless neckline and tulle train, as well as a fingertip-length veil. The bride carried a bouquet of lady slipper orchids, ranunculus, hydrangea and lisianthus tied with ivory satin ribbon.

Heather Landry, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Sarah Case, Heather Faherty and Lisa Mascolo. Alexis Ohrn of New York City, formerly of New Canaan, served as best man. Groomsmen included William Dewey, Daniel Landry and Eric Landry.

The bride and groom graduated from Union College in 2007, she with a bachelor’s   degree in biology and he with a bachelor’s  degree in economics. The bride is employed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals  Inc. in Tarrytown, N.Y., working in protein expression sciences as a senior specialist in Flow Cytometry. The groom is employed by Gartner Inc. in Stamford, as an account executive in worldwide events.

Following a honeymoon in the Greek Isles, the couple resides in Greenwich.
