Michael and Michelle Buscher of New Canaan just completed the EPIC Caesar Ride from London to Rome, June 3 to July 4.
The ride took the couple 32 days, covering 2,056 miles, with an elevation gain of over 127,000 feet riding over the Alps, Dolomites and Apennine Mountain ranges.
This is their fourth EPIC ride having previously cycled from Los Angeles, Calif., to Boston, Mass., from Lands’ End to John O’Groats (the length of the United Kingdom) and from Seattle, Wash., to the Mexican border.
The next trip will possibly be from Paris to Moscow in 2018.
“The ride was exceptionally beautiful but extremely challenging, testing our limits on almost a daily basis,” Michael told the Advertiser.
