Birgit and Bob Papscoe of New Canaan announce the marriage of their daughter, Anika Marie to Reed Charles Deluca, son of Beverly and R. Reed Deluca of Stamford, formerly of New Canaan.
The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Msgr. William Scheyd at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan on Oct. 8, 2016. A reception followed at Shorehaven Golf Club in East Norwalk.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by her sister, Tina Spannos, matron-of-honor. Colleen Drake and Lisa Saguirian were bridesmaids.
Brian Scharnick was the best man. Groomsmen were Brian Saum and Charlie Tricomi.
Scripture readings were done by Jenna Podskoch, sister of the groom and Bettie Papscoe, the bride’s Aunt. Ellie Quinn, sister of the groom, read the Prayer of the Faithful.
The couple graduated from New Canaan High School in 2004. The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Syracuse University in 2008. She is a senior designer at HMSDesign in Fairfield. The groom graduated from Brown University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is a senior treasury analyst at PepsiCo in Purchase, N.Y. The couple honeymooned in Sedona, Ariz., and Santa Fe, N.M. and now lives in Stamford.
