Courtney Townshend, left, alumna of NCHS ’07 and Colorado College 2011, and Lauren Ambler, alumna of NCHS ’09 and University of Pennsylvania 2013, both graduated with from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington on May 8. Townsend, a recipient of the Dean’s Award for overall Academic Achievement, will do her residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in Boston. Ambler, a recipient of the School of Medicine Professionalism Award, will do her residency in pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
