New Canaan Library invites all to immerse themselves in the tantalizing performance of guitarist John Lehmann-Haupt. From classical works of Bach to Debussey and James Taylor, Lehmann-Haupt presents much-loved music that crosses all musical genres. The performance will take place on Wednesday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Curtis Gallery. Seating is limited, please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.
Lehmann-Haupt has been playing since he was five years old. Known equally for his arrangements of popular and traditional songs and for his classical interpretations, he has released recordings on the Physical World, AIG, and JLH Records labels. His twelve-year engagement at Windows on the World (atop the World Trade Center) was cited by the New York Times.
