The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County (HBRA) announced that Arnold Karp of Karp Associates, Inc. of New Canaan has been selected Builder of the Year in the HBRA Awards for outstanding achievement in the local home building industry.
The awards will be presented at an evening celebration on June 9 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
The HBRA Awards are bestowed to members for excellence in new home construction, land development, remodeling, allied supplies and services, and volunteerism to the organization.
“Our award winners are deserving of this recognition for the accomplishments they have made within our industry and for their commitment to our association and the Fairfield County communities,” stated Gina Calabro, chief executive officer of the HBRA of Fairfield County. “Our 430+ members represent the best in their industry and are committed to the highest standards in building.”

Remodeler of the Year: Michael Palumbo and Kent Eppley, ERI Building & Design, Darien;
Woman of the Year: Karen Bradbury, owner, Closet and Storage Concepts, Norwalk;
Business of the Year: Marlin Electric, Fairfield;
Supplier of the Year: Clarke Distributors, South Norwalk, CT
HBRA Hall of Fame: Gary Fanali, City Carting & Recycling, Stamford, CT; Kim DiMatteo, The DiMatteo Group, Shelton.
