Spliced and Divided, a set of 18 collages by New Canaan artist Eden Lucien Neleman, a junior at New Canaan High School, are on display at The Inn, Waveny LifeCare Network’s independent living community.
Inspired by the young artist’s love for photography and found imagery, she said she “literally spliced and divided” imagery to convey meaning through juxtaposition.
“It is very interesting to show my work at The Inn and to share art and ideas from my own perspective with those who have experienced so much,” Neleman said. “I love to create, and I hope art never leaves my life and that I will always allow time for it.”
Located at 73 Oenoke Ridge, The Inn provides independent senior living and welcomes older adults from all areas. For more information, or to visit the Spliced and Divided exhibit, call 203-594-5450 or visit waveny.org.
