Abigail Terese Wessman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robin Wessman of Norfolk, Mass., was married Saturday, Oct. 1, to Paul Bradley Couture, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Couture of New Canaan.
The ceremony took place at the Boston Seaport’s Wintergarden. A reception immediately followed in the Plaza Ballroom of the Seaport Hotel.
Alexandra Wessman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kathryn Morrow and Elizabeth Jacxsens, sisters of the bridegroom; Jean and Margaret Gray, cousins of the bride; Sarah Fraser, Lauren Kondel and Jessica Colcord, friends of the bride.
Joseph Sulzbach, friend of the bridegroom, was best man.
Groomsmen were Carter Wessman, brother of the bride; Robert Morrow and Patrick Jacxsens, brothers-in-law of the bridegroom; and Michael Carney, Thomas Didyk and Porter Sargent, friends of the bridegroom.
Paul Morrow served as junior groomsman, Matthew Morrow as ringbearer, and Margaret Jacxsens as flower girl.
The bride, a graduate of Northeastern University, received her master of tourism administration degree from George Washington University and is an associate program manager with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.
The bridegroom, a graduate of Gettysburg College, received his master of business administration degree from Northeastern University and is an analyst with Wellington Management Company.
After a honeymoon in Bora Bora, the couple resides in Chicago.
