The Kiwanis Club of New Canaan welcomed New Canaan Community Foundation President and CEO Lauren Patterson to a recent luncheon meeting at South End.
Patterson shared news on the foundation’s annual grant cycle, which recently engaged about 100 local volunteers; its Touch A Life Luncheon on April 25 at Woodway Country Club, which will benefit emergency assistance for town residents in need; and the organization’s 10 years running the Young Philanthropist’s Program, where high school students learn about local nonprofits and philanthropy, and make grant investments in the community.
