New Canaan resident Emily Barnard, a sophomore at King School, joined a group of students who visited the United Nations as part of the Global Classroom program at the United Nations. The group, all members of the Global Studies program at King, also included 10 visiting French exchange students who had spent two weeks at King. This is the third time that King Global Ed program will be working with the International Cinema Education (I.C.E.) organization, an NGO established in March 2003 at the United Nations.
