The Maddox Law Firm will host a timely presentation entitled Campus Relationships & Affirmative Consent at the New Canaan Public Library Lamb Room on Wednesday, March 29 from 7 to 8 p.m.
The event is open to adults, college and high school students. It is free of charge.
The topic is Campus Relationships and Connecticut’s law entitled Affirmative Consent. Attorney Maddox will speak in some detail about what the Affirmative Consent law means for college students and administrators. He will also speak about Title IX and an overview of campus sexual assault policies from various colleges and universities. These are topics that are crucially important for students, educators and administrators.
Attorney Maddox believes that the best way to change and improve student interactions and the relationship culture is through education, information and transparent discussion.
