Kathleen Holland, will address the New Canaan Men’s Club at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, in Morrill Hall at St. Mark’s Church. Her presentation will cover the purpose and importance of wetland protection, roles and responsibilities of the Wetland Commission, challenges faced by the staff and the Commission and a review of interesting projects on the horizon.
Holland is the director of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses for the Town of New Canaan. She has over 28 years of municipal land use experience. In 2009, she received the Wetlands Director of the Year Award from the Connecticut Association of Conservation and Inland Wetlands Commissions.
