Eric Clark Nietsch, son of Patricia and Eric Hollerith Nietsch of New Canaan, was married to Natalie Elizabeth Marko, daughter of Thomas and Rebecca Marko of New Castle, Penn., on Oct. 22, in New York City. The nuptial mass was officiated by The Reverend Sean Toole, SJ at the Church of Saint Francis Xavier on West 16th St. in New York City. A reception followed at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a couture Anna Maier dress custom-made by the atelier of the designer. The white Dutchess satin dress had a sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice that fell into an A-line column skirt. The dress was finished with a bustled cathedral train. She carried a cascading bouquet of white calla lilies and greens. In attendance were her Maid of Honor, Kristin Pugno of Upper Montclair, NJ, Katrina Nietsch, sister of the groom from San Diego, Cal., (NCHS Class of 2007), Michele Leslie from Tampa, Fla. and Alicia Landrio from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The bridesmaids wore champagne, floor-length, beaded dresses and carried tight bouquets of dark purple calla lilies.
Brian Martin, from Saratoga Springs, NY, was Eric’s best man. Nicholas Marko, brother of the bride from Danville, Penn., Manish Potti from Garden City, NY and Mark Castrovinci (NCHS Class of 2005), from Somerville, Mass. were groomsmen. Sebastian Kopp was the Ring Bearer and Skylar Bergman-Ward was the Flower Girl, both of New York City.
The bride graduated magna cum laude from the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in finance. After several years working on the trading floor, she now runs the Pan-Asia Client Strategy group for the Markets division of Citibank. The groom attended high school at the TASIS School in Thorpe, England and graduated in 2009 from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in cognitive psychology. In 2015, he became a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), and he is working as a credit analyst for Standard & Poor’s.
Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in South Africa and Botswana. They reside in Singapore.
