Elizabeth A. Ughetta, daughter of Gina and James Ughetta of New Canaan, and a sophomore at Hamilton College, has been selected to serve on the executive board of Hamilton’s WHCL radio. She will serve as publicity director.
WHCL is a nonprofit, student-run FM station that operates seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day when school is in session. The station offers music, sports, and public affairs programming and is housed in the Sadove Student Center.
One out of every eight students works for WHCL, making it one of the largest student organizations. Most of the station’s staff is made up of deejays who work a three-hour shift once each week.
