Mr. and Mrs. George Wallace deMenocal of New Canaan announce the engagement of their daughter, Lea Grace deMenocal, to Alexander William Maxwell Russell, son of Mrs. Graham Russell Briskman of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mr. Hollis Forbes Russell of Locust Valley, N.Y.
Miss deMenocal is a 2001 graduate of New Canaan High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Drew University in 2005 and is a vice president at J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Russell is a 2001 graduate of St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Mass. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2005, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in history. He is a teacher at St. Bernard’s School in New York City and is pursuing his Masters of Science in educational leadership at Bank Street Graduate School of Education.
A June 2014 wedding is planned in Quogue, N.Y.
