After working in various locations throughout Fairfield County, Melinda Loo, owner of Essential Bodywork and Wellness, opened her new office at 11 Forest St. in New Canaan on March 1. A resident of New Canaan, Loo said “there is a real need for wellness services that relieve stress and promote a lifestyle that give people the energy to maintain their productivity.”
Loo has worked for over 13 years in the wellness field wearing many hats: yoga instructor, massage therapist, holistic health coach, massage continuing education instructor, and wellness speaker. She graduated from Hands on Healing Institute and Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy and has current licenses in Connecticut and New York. She received her Health Coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Essential Bodywork and Wellness offers customized wellness services that relieve stress, relieve pain, and encourage healthy living. The services offered in the office are by appointment only and include: integrative massage and health coaching programs. Massage CE classes and wellness presentations are offered outside of the office.
