“Tipping Point,” by New Canaan artist Elizabeth Nagle, won first prize in the mixed media category for the 34th annual community-sponsored awards exhibition at the Rowayton Arts Center. Other local artists in the exhibit of 89 works are Marianne Rothballer (watercolor honorable mention), Virginia Jennewein, Vera Rahn, Antoinette Vardamis and Suzanne Wright.
Almost $3,500 dollars in prizes were presented during the exhibition reception on Sunday, May 4.
The exhibition in all media continues through Sunday, May 26.
The RAC Gallery, at 145 Rowayton Ave. in Rowayton, is open from noon to 5, Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 to 4 on Sunday (closed Monday). Admission is free.
