When acclaimed chef Brian Lewis was suddenly gone from Elm restaurant on Elm Street last year, eyebrows were raised. Few people knew the circumstances.
Well, now at least Lewis has resurfaced. He has purchased the farm-to-table Westport establishment LeFarm from chef/owner Bill Taibe. Taibe is also the owner of Westport’s The Whelk and new American/Japanese restaurant Kawa Ni.
“The sadness we feel by announcing the sale of LeFarm is tempered only with the excitement of knowing what amazing things are in store for this wonderful space as it is guided by Chef Brian Lewis,” Taibi told the Advertiser. “Thank you to all who have walked into our “home” at LeFarm. We could not have achieved any of this without you. We look forward to starting the next chapter with you.”
