In the final year of a life cut tragically short, Anthony Bourdain—celebrity chef, journalist and globe-trotting host of CNN’s “Parts Unknown”—tackled one of the most shocking and significant problems of our time: food waste.
Planet New Canaan will be screening his award-winning documentary Wasted! The Story of Food Waste at the New Canaan Library on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 6 p.m.
In Wasted! such famous chefs as Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Danny Bowien and Massimo Bottura show how small changes can turn “scraps” into mouth-watering, meaningful solutions to this global crisis.
This 90-minute encore presentation is free and open to the public, but registration is recommended through newcanaanlibrary.org. Light refreshments will be served.
